Tilda in Paris

Good afternoon!  Today I'd like to share a card using Sightseeing Tilda from the Class Trip Collection.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique as always.  I also painted some paving stones around her with Distress Inks.

Today Tilda is sightseeing in Paris so I added the gorgeous Eiffel Tower die cut from Doohickey Volume 3.

I also used the Insta Love Cam Doohickey to make the camera and the Insta Stripes Doohickey for the film strips.

The newspaper piece behind the camera is a stamp from the Le Fleur upgrade stamp set and I made the flowers using a Doohickey from Volume 14.  The tags were made with the Denim Tag Doohickey.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

Summer Vibes

Good evening!  What a gorgeous summer we're having here in the UK!  This Lazy Day Tilda from the Poop Party collection is perfect to represent this summer!  I love the huge sun hats on the Tildas in this collection.
I painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique as always.  I also painted a little beach and scene around her.
I added some flowers and lace from my stash.  The papers are by Maja Design.
I used the Lovely Umbrella Doohickey to make a parasol for Tilda and some pennants using a die from Afternoon Tea Doohickey Kit Volume 14.
The Summer Vibes sentiment is also from the Pool Party Collection.
The cute flip flops Doohickey from Volume 1 are also perfect for a beach card.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

Time for Tea Alice

Good morning!  I am so excited to show you today's card.  When I saw Wonderland Tilda I knew I wanted to put her with some teacups like the teacup canvas I made a few years ago.  The papers are Maja Design from Craft Heaven.
A snippet of lace is nestled in the bottom teacup to look like a lace edged napkin.
I embossed the clock stamp and used Glossy Accents on the face to make the White Rabbit's pocket watch.
I have painted Wonderland Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.

I also used the Big Clock with Hands stamp and die set.  I love this set so much.

I embossed the hands and added an ornate pin head from my stash for the centre.

I added flowers from my stash and also made the large flower using the Peony Doohickey dies.

Here are a couple of photos showing the card from different angles.

I also added a paper doily to the bottom of the card so that it looks like a little table cloth for the teacups.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

Piano Birthday Card

Good morning!  Today I have another card to share with you that I have created with the dies from Doohickey Volume 19, and once again it is an accordian card.  The papers are by Maja Design from the Celebration Collection.  I used the piano Doohickey to cut the shape of the card and used a Spellbinder circle to cut the centre panel which is decorated with the music stave Doohickey.

I have also used the music stand and vinyl record Doohickey dies to decorate the front, along with some lace and flowers from my stash.

The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is an older Magnolia stamp.

When you open the card the front panel swings inwards to reveal a violin, cut with the Doohickey die from the Danish Royal Opera Stamp and Cutz set.  I have also used the vinyl records again.

I have used another Magnolia sentiment on the reverse of the front sentiment panel.

I have cut the violin in kraft and gold cardstock.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

CD Card

Good morning!  Today I'd like to share with you a fun card I have created using the Doohickey dies from Volume 19 - Music.  I made it for my brother's birthday but it would work equally well for a teenager I think.  I have used acetate and silver cardstock to create the CD background, drawing round an actual CD to get the correct size.  I used Spellbinder circle dies for the centre holes.
I cut the tape player in silver, black and orange and then used different elements from each colour to create the tape player.

I have used the two star Doohickey dies in several colours on the card.

I have also used the vinyl record and musical note Doohickey dies.  The paper strip with stars on is from a Maja Design paper and the ribbon is from my stash.

I have added the die cuts on different thicknesses of foam pads to add lots of interesting dimension to the card.

Here's a side view showing the inside of the card which I covered in co-ordinating blue paper as it is visible through the hole in the CD from the front.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
