And now let’s start the fun blog hop!!! If you came from Paulina's blog you’re on the right track! If you just happened to visit my blog, please CLICK HERE to start from the beginning.
Here is my project for the Blog Hop!!!!!!

I created a circus tent card and co-ordinating gift bag from a recycled bag that I just love the colours of.

For the card I painted Circus Rain Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added Stardust Stickles to her umbrella.

I used the gorgeous Sakura Lanterns Doohickey die to decorate the circus tent and the Lovely Lace Doohickey along the top of the opening.

I used the pennant from the Flag and Cloud Doohickey set to complete the circus tent.

I added some pink twine and 10mm roses from my stash to the top of the tent.

I used the Lovely Lace Doohickey again to create the circus ring at the bottom of the card.

On the recycled gift bag I used my favourite stamp from the Le Cirque Collection, Clown Tilda Dress, again painted with Distress Inks, and added Stardust Stickles to her skirt, ribbons and the heart she's holding.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting me today.

Good luck!

Here is the whole blog hop list:

Craft Heaven DT - Le Cirque Collection

Good morning!  Today on the Craft Heaven Blog we're showcasing stamps from Magnolia's gorgeous Le Cirque Collection.  I've used the sweet Tilda Clown and Maja Design papers from the Sofiero Collection on my card.

I've painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added details to her cheeks and outfit with a white gel pen.

The gorgeous chipboard pieces are by Scrapiniec from the Mehendi Borders set and I've used the Sakura Lanterns Doohickey dies for the lanterns.

I've also used a star swirl from Doohickey Volume 9 as strings for the lanterns and some lace from Craft Heaven.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Mr & Mrs Magnolia

Good morning!  It is time for our reminder post over on the All About Magnolia Challenge Blog and our theme this month is 'Shaped Cards'.  I love making cards using the heart Doohickey frame from Magnolia's Vintage Box 5.  It was perfect for making my parents a special anniversary card for their 50th wedding annivesary.

I painted the stunning Mr & Mrs Magnolia stamp from the You Are Invited Collection with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.

I was so pleased with how the painting turned out that I didn't want to detract from it with too many embellishments, so opted for a few sequins and the golden, glittery number 50 cut with a Tim Holtz die.

The bow was also cut with the Tim Holtz Bow-Tied die.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at All About Magnolia Challenge this month.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.  Thanks for looking! x

Craft Heaven DT - Spooky!

Good evening!  Our theme on the Craft Heaven Blog this week is Halloween/Spooky projects.  I have created a sugar skull shaped card and painted Wonderful Tilda from the You Are Invited collection with her face painted for Dia de Muertos.
I painted Tilda with Distress Inks as always, using the no lines technique.  I used Distress Inks and a fine black pen to create Tilda's face make-up, a white gel pen for the highlights in the flowers and eyes and a silver gel pen for the flower details on her dress.
I used Doohickey dies to create the details on the sugar skull.  The heart nose is an off-cut heart from the heart tag from Volume 9 and a leaf Doohickey from Volume 9 to create the swirls near the nose and mouth.
The swirls on the forehead are actually the balloon string from the balloons Doohickey in Volume 5 and the heart is also from the heart tag.  The flowers around the eyes were cut with a flower Doohickey from Volume 6.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  Pop over to the blog for more spooky ideas from the rest of the team.

Star Balloon Tilda

Good evening!  I'm rather late posting this week's card for Craft Heaven: it's been one of those weeks!  I've used another gorgeous image from the Le Cirque Collection from Magnolia and some gorgeous papers from Maja Design.

I've painted Star Balloon Tilda with Distress Inks as always and added Stardust Stickles to her shoes, hat, dress and make-up and Glossy Accents to her balloon.

I have added some gorgeous lace from Craft Heaven and some pale pink roses.  The ribbons are from my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  x

Join the Circus!

Good morning!  Have you seen the new collection from Magnolia?  I am in love with them all!  I spent many happy hours over the weekend painting them all and here is my first card with one of them!  You will find the full collection at Craft Heaven.
I painted Edwin Circus Manager with Distress Inks and added some dots to his cheeks with a white gel pen.  There was a large dot stamp in the kit which I have taken to be a juggling ball.  I added some foam balls in the same colours as the balls I have painted.
The sentiment is also in the collection.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  Pop over to the Craft Heaven blog for more ispiration from the rest of the team. x
