Santa Claus!

Good afternoon!  I am back with more quick Christmas cards.  I made twenty of these altogether!  I love the Magnolia Santa Claus Doohickey for creating eye catching cards speedily.

I made two different versions, one with red ribbon and the other with candy cane striped twine.

I used paper from Tim Holtz' Kraft Resist Christmas pad and set to work altering it with white paint, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and gold and purple shimmer sprays.

Here they all are piled up on my craft room floor ready to go!  Thanks for looking and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Craft Heaven DT - It's Cold Outside!

Good morning!  Another Christmas card to share today with more of the stunning Maja Design papers.  Please excuse the terrible photos today - it was terribly gloomy outside when I took these!

I have used one of my favourite Christmas stamps from Magnolia, It's Cold Outside Tilda from the Waiting For Christmas Collection.  As usual, I have painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I've used the gorgeous heart frame from Vintage Box 5 for the image mat.

I have added some gorgeous Scrapiniec holly pieces and some heart tags cut with a Doohickey die.

I have also used the Mistletoe Doohickey die and Poinsettia Doohickey die from the Merry Little Christmas Collection to make the leaves and flowers.  The Poinsettias are made from white silk Foamiran.

I also used the white silk Foamiran to cover some yellow flower centres to make the mistletoe berries.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

Craft Heaven DT - Chrismtas Bears!

Good morning!  I have two cards to show you today that are a matching pair from a son and daughter to their Mummy.  I designed them as mirror images embellishment wise so that they can be displayed together.  First up is the girl's card.  I have used the stunning new Christmas papers by Maja Design and used one of the gorgeous Cocco With Present from the Little Christmas Collection.

I have painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added some details to her sleeve and cheeks using a white gel pen.

I have used the Tilda Ticket Doohickey to create little tags at the side of the image and added bells, twine and tiny pink roses.

I've also added a bark heart and cherry blossom to the other side.  The finishing touch is 'Mummy' cut from some gorgeous silver glitter card that I have recycled from last year's Christmas crackers!

Now onto the boy's card.  This time I used Cozy Christmas Bear, also from the Little Christmas Collection and again painted him with Distress Inks.

I have used the New York post mark stamps from the With Love Collection around the images on both cards.

I have used the same embellishments but swapped the pink roses for blue ones...

...and placed them on the opposite sides to the girl's card!

I hope you like them and thanks for looking! x

Craft Heaven DT - Sweet Christmas Dreams

Good evening!  I have my project for the Craft Heaven Inspirational Blog to share today using some gorgeous Magnolia papers and an older Tilda, Something For You Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection.  I actually found this Tilda, already painted when I was tidying my craft room, hence the black outline instead of the no lines technique I usually use these days.  She is still painted with Distress Inks though!

I have stamped the Vintage Merry sentiment from the So Jolly Under The Mistletoe Collection with glue and added gilding flakes in bronze and gold to make it the focal point of the card.  I have used some holly cutouts from Scrapiniec around the sentiment.  You can find lots of different Scrapiniec pieces at Craft Heaven.  They add so much instant impact to you cards!

I have used the Scalloped Tag from the Butterfly Dreams Collection to make the tags and added white cotton lace and white button twine, along with a bronze holly charm.

I added another tag to match at the other side.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

Frozen Tilda

Good evening!  I have my inspirational piece for Craft Heaven today using the incredibly cute Frozen Tilda from the Christmas Party Collection from 2017.  I've also used some Pion Design and Maja Design Christmas papers.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added some white dots for snow and on her cheeks.  I've also added Stardust Stickles around her feet and to the snowflakes.

The sentiment comes with Starlight Kit and I have embossed it in silver.  The lace is from Craft Heaven and I have used Doohickey dies to cut the snowflakes.

I have used the Heart Tag Doohickey for the tags and added some lace and bells.

I have also used the Slender Firs Doohickey to cut the trees.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Home For The Holidays

Good evening!  Today I'd like to share a clean and simple Christmas card using the cute stamp set 'Home For The Holidays'.

I have masked the car and Tilda before painting with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added Glossy Accents to the headlights and windscreen of the car and Stardust Stickles to the presents and snowflakes.

I have stamped the sentiment with Weathered Wood Distress Ink to tone in with the rest of the scene.
The background paper is from Maja Design's Denim & Friends Collection.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
