Craft Heaven DT - Urban Collection

Good morning!  Today's card for Craft Heaven features the amazing Tilda from the Magnolia Day 2019 Urban Collection stamp set.    I've teamed her with some gorgeous papers from Pion Design, Delicate Blooms from the New Beginnings Collection.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added some dots to her eyes and cheeks with a white gel pen.

The gorgeous chipboard flower spray is from Scrapiniec and the cherry blossoms and lace are from Craft Heaven.

The sentiment was cut from the Little Things paper from Pion Design's New Beginnings Collection.  This paper has so many fantastic sentiments on it!

The tags were cut with the heart tag from Doohickey Volume 5 and I have added white seam binding to them.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

TOMIC Inspiration Post - Tilda With Plant

Good morning!  Today it is my turn to inspire you over on the TOMIC blog where our theme this month is May Flowers.

I have used Tilda with Plant from the Upgrade Le Fleur collection.  As always I have painted with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.

The flowers and leaves were cut with Doohickey dies from Vintage box 1.  The papers are by Maja Design.

I have used the Newspaper stamp from the Upgrade LeFleur collection to create an embellishment piece.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at TOMIC this month.

Thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Tilda in Paris

Good afternoon!  I'd like to share a card featuring one of my favourite techniques today: painting in sepia.  I love this technique for a few reasons; it is quicker than painting in colour, it is very effective and it looks like old photos, which I love!  I have used my favourite Maja Design paper at the moment, Stonewashed from the Denim & Friends collection.  I had to buy more of it so that I don't run out!

I masked Tilda and the Eiffel Tower images from the With Love From Paris stamp kit from Magnolia Day 2017 and painted the whole scene with Walnut Stain Distress ink using the no lines technique.  I added a few detail with a white gel pen.  I stamped the cute little dog separately and painted her in the same way before cutting her out and adding to the 'photo' with 3D pads.  The card was cut with the heart frame doohickey from Magnolia Vintage Box 5.

I used the birdcage and bird doohickeys from Vintage Box 5 and the post mark stamp is from the With Love From Paris stamp set.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Lollipop Card

Good morning!  Today I'd like to show you my latest creation for Craft Heaven using Maja Design papers.

The image is Edwin's Oldsmobile from Magnolia, painted with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added Glossy Accents to the windscreen and Stardust Stickles to the headlights.  I covered the actual number plate with a piece of card bearing the recipients name.

I have used the gorgeous Star Tag from Magnolia to decorate the card to match with the Maja Design paper.  The beautiful blue seam binding is from Craft Heaven.  I also used the tassle tag from Doohickey Kit Volume 5.

I covered a chipboard no. 6 with crackle paint and inked it with Walnut Stain Distress INk.

The pretty straw is from Craft Heaven too and I used more of the seam binding to create a bow.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

TOMIC #3 - May Flowers

Good morning!  Our new challenge starts today over on the TOMIC blog and this month our theme is "May Flowers".  I have used some gorgeous paper from the Maja Summertime paper pad and another one from the Denim Collection.

I inked up the gorgeous Tilda from one of the Magnolia Day kits again and this time masked her with the honeycomb background that was in the kit.  I  have painted them with Distress Inks as always.  To make the honeycomb look more realistic I gave it a coat from a Wink of Stella pen and I have added Startdust Stickles to her wings.

I used the flower border from Doohickey Kit Volume 4 to add some detail to the bottom of the image.

The flowers are from Craft Heaven and the leaves were cut with the Rose Leaf Doohickey.

The sentiment is from the Magnolia Day kit too and I have cut it out with a tag from Doohickey Kit Volume 5.  The seam binding and charm are from Craft Heaven too.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at The Official Magnolia Blog this month.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.  Thanks for looking!
