Craft Heaven DT - A Valentine's Card

Good morning!  I have a Valentine's card to share with you today using some gorgeous Reprint Love & Romance papers and another cutie from Magnolia's Lovely Collection.  I finally, after years of coveting, acquired the Brides Bow Doohickey and have used it on the belly band of the card.  I have also used the Old Swedish Lace Doohickey for the beautiful lace edge.

This is what the card looks like once the belly band is removed.  Excuse my finger - it wouldn't stay closed for the photo otherwise!  I have used the Heart Frame Doohickey for the edges and the heart from the Woodland Tags Doohickey set for the aperture.  I have then framed the aperture with a piece by Scrapiniec which I cut in half so that it opens with the card.

The photo above shows the card fully opened.  Inside I have used more papers from the Reprint paper pack and Snail Mail Tilda, painted with Distress Inks.  I have also used one of the sentiments from the collection.

As always, Tilda was painted using the no lines technique.  I have added some stamping with various Magnolia post mark stamps around the edges of the image.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Love You Watts

Good evening and happy Valentine's Day!  In honour of the day I'd like to show you my latest card for Craft Heaven featuring the Love You Watts Tilda from the Live Laugh Love Collection and papers from Maja Design's Little Street Cafe Collection.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks and added some details to the ribbon in her hair using a white gel pen.

The light bulb charm is from Craft Heaven and I have used the heart background Doohickey die behind the image.

The hearts are off cuts from the background die and I have added some cheesecloth behind the image too.

The sentiment comes with the Tilda, along with some lightbulbs and flowers.  I used a Spellbinders ornament die to cut Tilda out, using it upside down to resemble a lightbulb.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  Tina has a sale on Magnolia stamps at the moment - check it out here!

Clean and Simple Valentine

Good afternoon!  I have a clean and simple card to share with you today.  It is not often I go for clean and simple, but when I saw these three cuties I thought they'd work perfectly together on a Valentine's card.  These are the new stamps that you can personalise from Magnolia.  Each comes with its own sentiment which you can then add your name too!

This one is Telephone Tilda.  She comes with the sentiment "Made with love from", plus your name (or whatever you wish to add actually).  I have painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added white spots to her eyes and cheeks with a white gel pen.

Next up is Tilda's Lamp Post.  Her sentiment is, "With Love From", and again you can add your name, or maybe even your town or country!

Finally, we have Royal Post Tilda.  She comes with the sentiment "Made With Love By", and whatever name you wish to add.  Aren't they all cute?  They're perfect to add to envelopes, the back of cards, tags, or to group together as I have done here.

I have added a simple sentiment using a Tim Holt Shadow Press set to complete the card.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

You Are Beary Special To Me

Good evening!  I'd like to share my latest card with you featuring the gorgeous new stamps from the Valentine Pop Up Box.

I love this Tilda in her little bear suit.  As always I have painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  The little paw prints are an accessory stamp that come with this Tilda.  They're so cute!

The sentiment, "You are beary special to me", also comes in the set.  I have used the heart tag from Doohickey Volume for the tags.  The papers are the gorgeous new collection from Maja Design, Little Street CafĂ©.  The papers, lace, flowers and seam binding are all from Craft Heaven.

I have used the doily Doohickey behind the image mat and used the off-cut hearts from the tags to decorate the card.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Embossed Anniversary Card

Good morning!  Today I have an anniversary card to share with you using one of my favourite papers from Maja Design's Denim and Girls collection.

I've used the gorgeous heart frame die from Magnolia to cut the card shape, and the Love Heart background stamp from the Love Collection as the main focus of the card and embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I've also used lots of Frantage around the edge of the heart shape, which I've cut by hand.

The gorgeous seam binding, key charm and flowers are all from Craft Heaven.

I have gathered and glued lace from Craft Heaven around the central heart and added some tiny heart gems from my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Anniversary Card

Good evening!  I have a wedding anniversary card to share with you today for Craft Heaven using the stunning Mrs & Mr Magnolia from Magnolia's You Are Invited collection.  I have used papers from the gorgeous Denim & Girls paper collection.

I have painted the image with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added some subtle sparkle to Tilda's veil using a Wink of Stella pen.  I have also added Startdust Stickles to her crown.  The gorgeous chipboard circle is by Scrapiniec.

The seam binding and heart key are from Craft Heaven and I have used the Heart Background Doohickey either side of the image.

The flowers were made using the Orchid Doohickey die and the centres have been inked with Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Tilda Throws Away Hearts

Good morning!  Today I'd like to share my card for the Craft Heaven blog using papers from Maja Design and the sweet Tilda Throws Away Hearts from Magnolia.  The card shape was cut with a Doohickey frame die from Vintage Box 5.
I painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique as always.  I've added some lace details to her dress using a white gel pen.
The sentiment is from the Stempelglede Just a Note stamp set.  The butterflies were cut with a Martha Stewart punch and the rose and the flowers were cut with Doohickey dies.
I also added some lace and a chipboard piece from Craft Heaven along with some button twine and a white and pink rose.  The flowers were made from ecru foamiran and pink stamens.
I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us at Craft Heaven for this month's challenge.  Pop over to the blog for more inspiration.

Thanks for looking! x

Happy Valentine's Day!

Good morning and happy Valentine's Day.  To celebrate I made this Valentine's card with the gorgeous Love Typewriter Doohickey as the main feature and papers from Maja Design's new collection - Celebration.  I used the Magnolia Doily Doohickey to create the shape of the card.
I cut the typewriter from black cardstock and added details with a gold pen.  The letter and hearts were cut from white cardstock and I inked the hearts with Festive Berries Distress Ink.
I have propped the typewriter and letter on 3D pads for extra dimension.
On the base of the easel card I have stamped the Roses are Red Text from the You Are Invited Collection.
I added some pale pink roses and a black Prima flower along with some crystal stems from Magnolia.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
