Craft Heaven DT - Birthday Pop Up Card

Good morning!  Today I want to share the birthday card I made for my daughter's birthday.  She loves these pop up boxes so of course I had to make one bursting with sweet Tildas!  The papers are mostly from Maja Design's Miles Apart Collection and a few scraps from the Sofiero Collection.  The flowers and stunning crown button are all from Craft Heaven.

I have used lots of Doohickey dies from Volumes 5 and 14.  The cute cupcakes from Volume 14 have been topped with lilac roses.

All of the Tildas are from the Lovely Collection and are painted with Distress Inks.  This one is Tilda...

...this one is Loooving Tilda...

... and this one is O'Birthday Tilda.

The gorgeous balloons are from Volume 5.

The numbers Tilda is holding are from my stash, painted with crackle paint and then waxed with prima wax.

At the back of the card I have used the three tiered cake from Volume 5.

On the back of the box I have used the heart from Volume 5 to create a space for a message.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Lockdown Birthday Card

Good morning!  Today's creation is the card I made for my Mum's birthday recently, featuring the Tilda from the special Support the Artist stamps.  My mum was very amused that there is actually a stamp with a face mask on now.  I have used Maja Design's Denim & Girls paper collection - I love these papers!

As always I painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have used a white gel pen for the dots on her eyes and cheeks and also for the straps of her face mask.

I have used lots of Doohickey dies on this card.  The cake was cut with the middle cake from the three tier set and I cut the stand from the bottom of the cake stand to make it into a plate instead.  The banners were cut with a die from Doohickey volume 14.  I have also used the Sakura Background die behind the image.

The tree branch and lanterns were cut from the Sakura Lanterns Doohickeys and I have added some tiny pink roses from Craft Heaven.   As a finishing touch I have added white gesso here and there to the card.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Best Tea-cher Ever!

Good evening!  I hope my post finds you all safe and well in these worrying times.  It has been very hot and sunny the past few days here so I decided to spend some time painting an image in the garden instead of my craft room.  I have made a teacher thank you card with the resulting image, the gorgeous Best Tea-cher Ever stamp set from the Live, Laugh, Love Collection.

I have used all of the stamps in the set except the hearts and kisses stamp and layered the sentiment over parts of the image for a quirky look.  As always I have painted the images with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.

I have used the cup, saucer and teapot dies from Doohickey Volume 14, Afternoon Tea.  The papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics Collection.

The gorgeous chipboard piece is by Laserowe.  I have added some Gesso to it here and there as well as around the edges of the card.

The lace and roses are from Craft Heaven.I made some cute tea bags using the dies from Volume 14 too.  I thought it would be fun to make them out of cheesecloth.  The 'tea leaves' are brown Flower Soft.  I love how they turned out!

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Breakfast at Tilda's - GDT for Magnolia-licious

Good afternoon!  I am excited to bring you a brand new Magnolia stamp today, designed by Pauline especially for Magnolia-licious, and available exclusively from the Magnolia-licious store!

The stamp set is called "Breakfast at Tilda's".  As well as gorgeous Tilda, eating her pancakes, you get two different blueberry designs and the sentiment!  As always I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I also added some Glossy Accents to the syrup and syrup bottle to make them look realistic.

I even made pancakes!  I've used Doohickey dies from Doohickey Kit 14 and the Recipe Card Collection to create the little breakfast accessories.

Of course eggs are required to make pancake batter so they were a perfect die to use on this card!  I made the mixing bowl from the teapot and muffin Doohickey dies.  I've cut the top off the teapot diecut and used the muffin top to decorate the bowl.  You can see on the side of the bowl one of the blueberries that come with the stamp set.

I've also used the whisk and spoon from the Recipe Card Collection on the other side of the image.

I've added the sentiment to the base of the easel card along with another blueberry.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking.  Pop over to the Magnolia-licious store to grab your "Breakfast at Tilda's" stamp set before they sell out!

Tilda With Flower Pot

Good evening!  Today I have an oldie Magnolia stamp from the Butterfly Dreams Collection to show you.  She's perfect for a Mother's Day card I think!

As usual I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I've also used a white gel pen to add some details to the flowers and her cheeks.

I have used a tag from Doohickey Volume 5 and added some lace from my stash.

The hearts are the cut outs from the tags and I have also used the Rose Leaf Doohickey for the leaves.

The flowers were cut using a Doohickey Die from Volume 14.  I have used Maja Design papers throughout.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x

All About Magnolia DT - Anything Goes

Good morning!  We are back after our summer break at All About Magnolia Challenge and our theme is 'Anything Goes'.  I'm still reminiscing about the glorious summer we had this year with today's card.
I have painted the stunning Toes in the Sand Tilda from the Pool Party Collection with Distress Inks.  I've also used a couple of Distress Ink markers to add details to the sand and Stickles to make her drink sparkle.
The gorgeous lace is from Craft Heaven and the sentiment die cut by Cut & Make which is just perfect this image.
I cut a couple of pennant flags from the pennants Doohickey from Volume 14 and used the Tilda's Ticket Doohickey for the tags.
The flip flop charm is from Craft Heaven and the cord I recycled from a clothes label.
I love it when you can use Doohickey dies for something other than their original design.  I used the Tower Doohickey to create the sandcastles by cutting it four times and then slicing the top off at different heights.  I used another pennant flag to top the sandcastle.
I hope you like it and can join us this month at All About Magnolia.  Thanks for looking!

Tilda in Paris

Good afternoon!  Today I'd like to share a card using Sightseeing Tilda from the Class Trip Collection.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique as always.  I also painted some paving stones around her with Distress Inks.

Today Tilda is sightseeing in Paris so I added the gorgeous Eiffel Tower die cut from Doohickey Volume 3.

I also used the Insta Love Cam Doohickey to make the camera and the Insta Stripes Doohickey for the film strips.

The newspaper piece behind the camera is a stamp from the Le Fleur upgrade stamp set and I made the flowers using a Doohickey from Volume 14.  The tags were made with the Denim Tag Doohickey.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking! x
