A Forgotten Christmas Card

Good afternoon and Happy New Year!  I found some photos of another Christmas card I haven't shared with you.  The cute Edwin and reindeer is from the December Pop Up Box and the bauble, stars and tinsel dies are from Doohickey Volume 36.

As always I have painted Edwin with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added some Stardust Stickles to the tassle on his hat but it is not showing up very well in the photo.

The backing papers and the paper for the patterned bauble are from Maja Design.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  I'll be back soon with a birthday card I am in the middle of creating.

Hot Cocoa Christmas Card

Good morning!  Another Christmas Card to share today, featuring the gorgeous Tilda from the Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows Pop Up Box.  I just love her cardigan, it is so cute!  I have used the Chestnuts Roasting background sentiment from Magnolia Ink Market behind Tilda.  I masked Tilda after painting her and then stamped the background.

As always, I. have painted Tilda using the no lines technique and Distress Inks.  The paper is from Maja Design and I have used some white acrylic paint on the edges.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Wonderful Time Christmas Card

Good afternoon!  Here is another Christmas card along the same theme as this morning's card.  This time I've used the 'It's the most wonderful time of the year' sentiment background from Magnolia Ink Market.  Again I tried to use gold and copper leaf which hasn't all taken.  I really do need more practise at this technique!

Tilda is painted using the no lines technique and I have added Stardust Stickles to the wrapping paper and hat tassle.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Chestnuts Roasting Christmas Card

Good morning!  Here's another one of my Christmas cards this morning.  How cute is this Tilda holding 2022?  I've painted her using the no lines technique and added Stardust Stickles to. her wings, halo and the 2022.

The background stamp is from Magnolia Ink Market.  I love this line of stamps and dies from Magnolia.  Check them out here if you are not familiar with them.  I have attempted to use gold and copper leaf for the background stamp.  I never seem to be able to get the whole sentiment to be covered but quite liked the vintage effect of having some bits missing so here it is on a card.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  I'll be back this afternoon with another Christmas card.

Believe Christmas Card

Good afternoon!  Another quick Christmas card from me this afternoon using lettering and stars from Doohickey Volume 32.  The blue paper is from Maja Design and I have teamed it with rose gold glitter card.  I only made one of these but it was incredibly quick to make so is ideal for batch making cards.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Balloon Christmas Card

Good morning!  Another Christmas card to show you today, this time featuring the gorgeous Hot Air Balloon Doohickey.  The beautiful background has been cut with the Tim Holtz Falling Stars die.  I love it for gorgeous but speedy backgrounds!  I cut the hot air balloon twice from co-ordinating Maja Design Christmas papers and then cut them to make a striped balloon.

I have used copper glitter card behind the Falling Stars die cut for extra sparkle.  The sentiment has been cut from some Maja Design Papers.  The seam binding was white and I stained it with a mixture of Fired Brick and Festive Berries Distress Inks.  The bells are from my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Heart Shaped Christmas Card

Good evening!  As usual at this time of year, I have been busy making lots of Christmas cards and only now getting around to blogging them.  The first card I have to show you features Edwin and a sentiment from the November Pop Up Box.  I love all of the new sentiments that are with these sets.

I have coloured Ewin using the 'no lines' technique with Distress Inks.  To carry on the hearts that are coming up from his hand, I stamped the two hearts that come in the stamp set with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  I have also stamped around the edges of the image mat with snowflakes from the set using Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

I have used different Doohickey Snowflake dies and the Misteltoe Doohickey to decorate the card.  The straws, ribbon and gems are from my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Sentiment Christmas Card

Good morning!  I'm almost there with showing these forgotten Christmas cards.  I have used Maja Design papers on this one and a simple embossed sentiment and some die cutting.  You could make lots of these in a relatively short time.  The sentiment is from the Big Christmas Sentiments set, embossed in gold.  The sentiment mat, the poinsettia and leaves were cut with dies from the Poinsettia and Old Paper set and the paper lace was cut with the Vintage Lace Doohickey.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Christmas Bauble Card

Good morning!  Today' Christmas card is a quick and simple one using one of the Christmas Sentiments and Magnolia Christmas Doohickeys to create a bauble.

For the top of the bauble I used the bottom of the lamp post from the Lamp Post with Sign and Vine Doohickey set and adorned it with foliage from the Christmas Greens and Poinsettia with Old Paper Doohickey dies.  The card base was cut with the old paper Doohickey too.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Gingerbreadh House Tilda

Good morning!  I still have a few more Christmas cards to show you, I hope you're not getting bored of them!

This one features Gingerbread House Tilda painted with Distress Inks as aoways.  I have used a white gel pen to add the icing to the gingerbread house and Stardust Stickles to the snowflakes and bows in Tilda's hair.  I have used the Window with Foliage So Wrapped Doohickey to create the gingerbread house and the sentiment is from the Christmas Sentiments set.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Snowman Christmas Card

Good morning!  I have another of the Christmas Cards I found to show you today.

I have used I Want to be a Snowman Tilda on this one, painted with Distress Inks as always.  The image mat was cut with the old paper Doohickey from the Poinsettia with Old Paper set.

I have used the Winter Tree Doohickey and the So Wrapped Snowflake tag but cut the snowflakes off to use on their own.

The leaves were cut with the Christmas Greens Doohickeys.

Angel Christmas Card

Good morning!  I have another Hochanda TV project to show you today - a Christmas card this time, using the gorgeous Christmas Angel.  I have used the heart frame Doohickey for the card base.

As always Tilda is painted with Distress Inks.  I have added Stardust Stickles to her wings and halo.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Sentiments set and the leaves were cut with a die from the Poinsettia and Old Paper Doohickey set.

The poinsettia was made with dies from the same set.

A Christmas Tag

Good morning!  I was looking through my photos yesterday and found several projects that I made last year for the Hochanda TV show that I haven't blogged!  I have used Old Paper Doohickey to cut the tag and the Santa Tilda/Edwin, painted with Distress Inks.

I have topped the tag with the So Wrapped Doohickey Snowflake cut from glitter paper.

I cut the Light Bulbs with String from the same glitter paper and the bulbs from white cardstock, coate with Crackle Accents.  A touch of Gesso here and there for a snowy touch completes the tag.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Lantern Tilda

Good afternoon!  I am back with another Christmas card to show you using Lantern Tilda by Magnolia, Magnolia Doohickeys and Maja Design papers.

As always I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I have added some Stardust stickles to the snow flakes and lantern light.   The card shape was cut with the frame die from Magnolia Vintage Box 4.

I have used the Slender Firs Doohickey, So Wrapped Merry Christmas tag and So Wrapped Snowflake tag along with cherry blossoms and roses.  The deer is from Magnolia Vintage Box 6.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!
